Japanese and Korean food, a totally
new world to me from different points
of view. Starting with the ambience of
the restaurant and continuing with the
variety of dishes that they presented,
these all were for me, a new experience.
I discovered this place around two years
ago when I was looking for a part-time
job and working at Takayama came in
handy. I can say that I discovered so
many dishes and compared them so
many times. However, the last time I
went it was the best combination of
dishes that I have ever done.
My friend and I decided to go and as
it was on a nice chilly evening, I had a
nice jasmine tea. In terms of starters, I
choose Tako Karage, which is a deep-fried
octopus and soft-shell crab roll, a roll
quite popular and definitely worth it.
For the mains, I had a spicy chicken and my
friend wanted to try a fish and had black
Cod Misoyaki. Everything was amazing and
I was so glad I tried it. I have had takeaway
many times from this restaurant but
eating in was truly different.
If I was asked two years ago when I came
to the UK about Asian food, I would not
know what to say, but now I feel that I
have discovered a new cuisine. From
deep-fried dishes to grilled ones or soups
such as ramen there are so many things
to try and be amazed every time.
Service is good, as we are trained from
the beginning on how to approach
customers and small problems that may
arise. I would highly recommend trying
Asian food and if you are in Ipswich and
fancy sushi come by the restaurant, you
will definitely enjoy it.
