Venice can get quite crowded, even at this time of
the year. One word: carnival. But there remain
oases of peace, magical places far from all the
mass tourism. One of these wonderful places is
the Hotel Heureka, located in the district of
Cannaregio, while still being very accessible. The
hotel is situated inside a palace from the 16th
century. Yet, the interior design is joyful, colourful
and relaxing. An excellent combination of
historical architecture and contemporary design.
The garden, the library and the bar are places of
leisure and relaxation in an at times quite
exhausting city.
