IFS is beginning our first Kindergarten<br />
Grade in September <strong>2020</strong> and we need an<br />
experienced Mandarin Immersion teacher to<br />
lead the way! Our enrollment is capped at 12<br />
students to allow each student an<br />
unparalleled experience in learning and<br />
thinking in our Studio-K. Studio-K is set up<br />
to establish a daily practice of discovery<br />
learning, literacy & math centers and makerspaces.<br />
Our campus has 2 acres of forest and<br />
our K classroom is where teaching<br />
excellence, creativity and inspiration<br />
happens. We do not see education as a<br />
casual process but one which requires a<br />
great deal of reflection, thought and<br />
planning.<br />

At least two years of teaching in a Mandarin<br />
immersion lower elementary school grade.<br />
A strong understanding of assessment,<br />
curriculum planning, collaboration and<br />
communication with parents.<br />
A bachelors degree, teaching credential<br />
