To calculate your gross margin on retail price you need to multiply the excl VAT cost price by the relevant factor to<br />
achieve the incl VAT list price at the required margin.<br />
For example, to achieve a 60% margin on a bottle of wine that costs £5.75 excl VAT, simply multiply 5.75 by 3.001<br />
