Château La Pointe Bouquey
The Château La Pointe Bouquey covers 13 hectares of vines located near the
village of Saint Émilion. The vineyards are planted with three different grape
varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The estate has been
managed by the Pendenat family since the beginning of the 19th century. The
town is renowned as much for its beautiful buildings and scenery as for its wine.
Its steep, narrow, cobbled streets, overlooked by its Romanesque church and the
iconic 13th-century Tour du Roy tower are a reminder of the town’s long history.
Château La Pointe Bouquey has a beautiful and intense purple-blue colour,
and a powerful, complex and fruity nose that reveals vanilla, chocolate, as well
as woody notes. The palate is full and well-balanced, with blueberry jam and
coffee flavours and boasts an elegant finish, perfect with red meats and cheese.
