Back in 1851 our founder Walter Hicks set up business as a wine and spirits merchant before he<br />
soon expanded into running pubs and brewing beer. So from the very start, wine has been at the<br />
heart of our business and we have built our reputation on sourcing wine from all over the world<br />
and trading recognised and long-lived fine wines. Of the rare and old wines, some are held in<br />
our temperature controlled unit, while others are held under lock and key in the depths of the<br />
cellar at <strong>St</strong> <strong>Austell</strong> Brewery. For the main body of our range, we work with like-minded family<br />
wine producers from around the world and place as much focus as we can on sustainability of the<br />
vineyards, the producers and reducing the impact on our natural environment.<br />
