Two children ordered
their mother to stay in
bed one Mother’s Day
morning. As she lay
there looking forward
to being brought
breakfast in bed, the
smell of bacon floated
up from the kitchen.
Finally, the children
called her to come
downstairs. She found
them both sitting at the
table eating bacon and
eggs.
“As a surprise for
Mother’s Day,” one
explained, “we decided
to cook our own
breakfast.”
The Talk

A father decided it was
time to have “the talk”
with his young son.
He beckoned his son
to come into the living
room and sit down.
“The time has come
for you and I to have a
conversation, my son,”
the father started.
“Soon, you will have
new urges and feelings
that you have not had
before and that will be
hard for you to understand.
It might leave
you feeling perplexed.”
He added, “But you do
not have to worry, it’s
perfectly normal ... it’s
called golf.”
