Doppelmayr Direct Drive
The Doppelmayr Direct Drive (DDD) housed
in the top station offers high power and requires
extremely low maintenance thanks to
its gearless design concept. The fact that the
DDD is also very quiet is an added benefit for
both passengers and the environment. The
ropeway control system Doppelmayr Connect
enables straightforward, intuitive operation.
The new RPD Nexo system for rope position
monitoring ensures maximum safety and
availability of the ropeway installation, and is
totally dependable even in the most adverse
weather conditions.
The new 6-seater chairlift Malga Montagnoli–
Monte Spinale brings outstanding technology
and a signifi cant comfort upgrade for the ski
resort.
Since the 2019/2020 winter season, the
Italian ski resort Madonna di Campiglio has
boasted its very first D-Line. The new 6-seater
chairlift replaces a double chairlift and impresses
with performance, cutting-edge technology
and plenty of comfort for passengers.
The comfortable individual seats are heated
and, along with the bubbles, guarantee a particularly
pleasant uphill ride in all weathers.
With a capacity of 2,800 passengers an hour,
waiting times at the bottom station are now
history.
One of the chairlift’s special features is the
curve that forms part of the route and stretches
over three towers. This measure meant that the
alignment could be taken along the edge of
the ski trails, enabling winter sports fans to
make better use of the slopes.
This winter, almost 600,000 skiers used our
new chairlift, averaging 6,200 a day. This
investment in boosting customer satisfaction
is a great success for us,
as borne out by the many
positive comments.
