with ropeways
Efficient transport systems ensuring urban mobility are the hallmark of attractive cities
with high quality of life. As an integral part of the local transit network, ropeways take
the transport infrastructure of any city to a new level. A life cycle analysis investigated
and compared the ecological footprint of different forms of urban transport. The ropeway
was shown to be the most environmentally friendly mobility solution.
