everyone had the very latest information. In
addition to tips on hygiene, this also included
travel and movement restrictions as well as
guidelines on social gatherings.
Our employees have been provided with
masks, and disinfectant is available at entrances
and exits. Room cleaning and disinfection
have been intensified, with new methods
also introduced in production areas. At
Doppelmayr Italy, for example, a solution
from the TechnoAlpin company EMI Controls
has been used. This involves a canon, as
used for snowmaking, which distributes a disinfectant
solution over large areas in production
spaces – a fast and effective measure.
Meetings and events have increasingly taken
the form of telephone and video conferences,
which has proved to be very useful. In future,
we shall continue to utilize such possibilities
and, on occasion, dispense with the need to
travel in the interests of sustainability. Today,
we can be reached by many means and we are
there for our customers, whether it’s a short
phone call, an email or a cautious meeting.
Because personal contacts are important. With
social distancing, it’s possible to nurture those
contacts and nonetheless show consideration
to one another.
