CREAMY BANANA PUDDING
Submitted by: Cathi Wilson Cox
This is a dish that we tend to bring to many social functions and people
always ask me for the recipe because it “tastes like home.”
Serves: 8-10
INGREDIENTS
• 1 (14-oz.) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
(NOT evaporated milk) (I use the no-fat/low-fat version)
• 1½ c. cold water
• 1 (4-serving-size) package instant vanilla pudding and pie filling mix
(I use the sugar-free version)
• 1 (12 oz. container) Truwhip or Cool Whip Lite Whipped Topping
(found in freezer section of store)
• 36 vanilla wafers (I use the low fat version)
• 3 medium bananas, sliced and dipped in lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
In large bowl, combine EAGLE BRAND® and water. Add pudding mix; beat
until well blended. Chill 5 minutes.
Fold in Cool Whip Lite Whipped Topping. Spoon 1 c. pudding mixture into 2½
quart glass serving bowl or divide it among 8 to 10 individual serving dishes.
Top with one-third each of vanilla wafers, bananas and pudding mixture.
Repeat layering twice, ending with pudding mixture. Chill. Garnish as desired.
Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
