About the Student<br />

Miranda Thai is a 10th grade student at Norman High School, who has been taking <strong>Chinese</strong><br />

class since 8th grade. This piece was written in March <strong>of</strong> <strong>2021</strong> as a class assignment. In her free<br />

time, she enjoys watching <strong>Chinese</strong> TV dramas and listening to <strong>Chinese</strong> pop music. She won 2nd<br />

place in the <strong>2021</strong> SGA-OKCLTA <strong>Chinese</strong> Writing Competition.<br />
