► The Flash<br />
One of the last movies in the original DC Extended Universe (DCEU),<br />
re-introducing the superhero known as The Flash. Barry Allen (Ezra<br />
Miller) travels back in time as The Flash to try to prevent his mother’s<br />
murder, which brings unintended consequences to his timeline… The<br />
Flash is directed by the Argentinian filmmaker Andy Muschietti (aka<br />
Andrés Muschietti), who directed It: Chapter One and It: Chapter<br />
Two, plus the “Locke & Key” series for Netflix. This movie about<br />
The Flash is also about Batman (again), as well as Supergirl, filling<br />
in for Superman who is missing in this alternate reality. Ezra Miller<br />
returns starring as Barry Miller, with a cast including Sasha Calle as<br />
Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen,<br />
Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, plus Michael Shannon, Antje Traue,<br />
Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Rudy Mancuso, and Luke Brandon Field.<br />
And Michael Keaton is back as Bruce Wayne / Batman<br />
► No Hard Feelings<br />
“A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.” While on the brink of<br />
losing her family’s home, Maddie (Jennifer Lawrence) discovers<br />
an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents looking for<br />
someone to “date” their very introverted 19-year-old son, Percy,<br />
before he leaves for college. To her surprise, Maddie soon discovers<br />
the awkward Percy is no sure thing. No Hard Feelings is directed by<br />
comedy producer / writer / filmmaker Gene Stupnitsky, director<br />
of the film Good Boys previously, as well as some episodes of “The<br />
Office”; he was also a writer on “The Office”, “Bad Teacher”, and “Hello<br />

► Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny<br />
A fifth movie in the Indiana Jones franchise, continuing the story after<br />
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). Starring<br />
Harrison Ford as adventurer Indiana Jones and Phoebe Waller-<br />
Bridge as Helena. The full cast also features Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas<br />
Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones,<br />
Antonio Banderas, and Olivier Richters. Indiana Jones and the Dial<br />
of Destiny, also known as, Indiana Jones 5 is directed by acclaimed<br />
American filmmaker James Mangold, director of the movies Heavy,<br />
Cop Land, Girl Interrupted, Kate & Leopold, Identity, Walk the Line, 3:10<br />
to Yuma, Knight and Day, The Wolverine, Logan, and Ford v Ferrari.<br />
The film will be set in 1969 in the middle of the Space Race, with<br />
Harrison Ford back as Indy. Meanwhile, Voller, a NASA member and<br />
ex-Nazi involved with the Moon-landing program, wants to “rectify<br />
the world and make it into a better place as he sees fit.”<br />
► Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken<br />
Sweet, awkward 16-year-old Ruby Gillman (Lana Condor) is<br />
desperate to fit in at Oceanside High, but she mostly just feels<br />
invisible. She’s math-tutoring her skater-boy crush (Jaboukie Young-<br />
White), who only seems to admire her for her fractals, and she’s<br />
prevented from hanging out with the cool kids at the beach because<br />
her over-protective supermom (Toni Collette), has forbade Ruby<br />
from ever getting in the water. But when she breaks her mom’s<br />
#1 rule, Ruby will discover that she is a direct descendant of the<br />
warrior Kraken queens and is destined to inherit the throne from<br />
her commanding grandmother (Jane Fonda), the Warrior Queen of<br />
the Seven Seas. The Kraken are sworn to protect the oceans of the<br />
world against the vain, power-hungry mermaids who have been<br />
battling with the Kraken for eons. There’s one major, and immediate,<br />
problem with that: The school’s beautiful, popular new girl, Chelsea<br />
(Annie Murphy) happens to be a mermaid. Ruby will ultimately need<br />
to embrace who she is and go big to protect those she loves…Kraken<br />
features an extraordinary cast that includes Emmy winner Colman<br />
Domingo as Ruby’s supportive dad, Emmy nominee Sam Richardson<br />
as Ruby’s enthusiastic uncle, and Blue Chapman as Ruby’s cool little<br />
brother, plus Toni Collette, Jaboukie Young-White, Annie Murphy,<br />
Will Forte, Nicole Byer, Ramona Young, and Jane Fonda.<br />
