A realtor needs to have the
skills to act quickly on their feet
when challenges occur during
a real estate transaction.
Performing music live is Bob Garfield’s hobby, and it has
taught him how to remain calm and make thoughtful decisions
while playing on stage. These attributes are a large
part of his success as a Realtor these past 11 years.
When he is not assisting clients in real estate, Bob can often be
seen around town playing guitar and singing in Invasion Duo, a
band that highlights British hits from the early 60’s.
Real estate is more than a career to Bob, it is his passion. He
carefully listens to his clients’ needs and goals then sets about
helping them sell their home or locate their dream property. His
personal approach is to exceed his clients’ highest expectations.
“Listening carefully to a clients’ desires then reacting to what
is heard is the single most important skill to master in becoming
a successful realtor.”
Besides being a good listener, the local realtor knows the community
like the back of his hand. He lives, works, and plays in
Delray Beach. As rare as it may seem, Bob is also a native Floridian.
He was born and raised in South Florida and has lived in
Delray Beach, enjoying the unique lifestyle for over 18 years. After
receiving a degree in Business Administration from the University
of Florida, Bob embarked on a 30-year career as a Senior
Buyer for a major department store and then as a Sales Manager
and Account Executive for several major textile manufacturers.
He focuses on helping his clients sell their current properties
or locate a new home. He takes pride in responding quickly to his
clients and providing detailed follow-up throughout a transaction,
selling all price ranges, including beautiful homes with direct
Intracoastal views. He was co-listing agent on a recent sale for a
new construction 5-bedroom home in Rio Del Rey Shores, listed
at $6,950,000. His most recent sale at 1371 Estuary Trail Delray
Beach, has direct intra-coastal views. Estuary is one of only a few
24-hour guard gated communities in east Delray Beach.
“I see the recent frenzy in the real estate market over the past
3 years subsiding and returning to a healthy balanced market.
Delray Beach in particular, is highly desirable due to its proximity
to the beach, fine dining and live music. Delray Beach is
a blend of a New England seaside town and Greenwich Village
New York all rolled into one. You can see anything from casual
locals to celebrities driving Ferraris; it attracts all types of people
and offers a little bit of everything,” said Bob, adding, “Delray
Beach is becoming less and less seasonal. Homes are still selling
in the summer months.
Going above and beyond for his clients makes Bob a top producer
in his field.
