Joyful
June!
It’s crazy to believe but we are nearly halfway through
2023! Time flies when you’re hanging out in the
‘Most Fun Small Town’…
As the weather warms up, our town tends to quieten
down but that doesn’t mean its not a busy month.
Schools Out For Summer, so its always a busy time for those
people with kids. Beach time, summer camps, day trips and
keeping the little ones happy is a fulltime job! Don’t forget to
invest in some ‘adult time’ and enjoy yourself at one of our many
bars, spas, and restaurants. Keeping it local at this time of year is
appreciated by all our vendors.
Let’s hope it’s not a busy time for hurricanes. June 1st is the
start of hurricane season, so if you’re new to the state or unsure of
what preparations to make, read our article in this month’s issue.
Sunday, June 18th is Father’s Day! This month we give ideas to
spoil that special person in your life. It might be fishing,
scuba diving, tennis, or simple chillaxing. Whatever
you choose, we’ve got some super ideas to help
make his day as special as he is.
The following day, June 19th, we celebrate
Juneteenth National Independence Day.
It celebrates the freedom of slavery in the
United States and has been observed by
African Americans for more than 150 years.
Our City Person this month is the welltraveled
and current President and CEO of
the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce,
Stephanie Immelman.
See you next month when summer
vibes will be in full swing!
