At Målilla Älgpark you can pet and feed the elk, and take photographs<br />

to help you remember your visit. You can get close to and<br />

study these magnificent animals while they eat, sleep or bathe.<br />

Västervik Resort – Västervik<br />

A five star campsite with adventures for all the family. Bathing<br />

Vimmerby Adventure – Vimmerby<br />

Another amusement park with rides, a bouncy castle, adventure<br />

playground and obstacle course. Lådbilslandet is ideal for children<br />

aged 2 to 10 years.<br />

The Smoke House – Mönsterås<br />

In the same place where Nabbens Rökeri & Fisk is today, there was<br />

already a fish processing factory in the 1920s where fish from the<br />

Kalmar Strait was prepared for transport to destinations all over<br />

Europe. The smoke house was founded in the early 1950s.<br />

Axelssons i Aby - Hultsfred<br />

At Abyslätten, between Målilla and Mörlunda, you’ll find Kronogården.<br />

Make sure you don’t miss their speciality potato waffles,<br />

or a visit to the farm shop.<br />

Mellingerum - Oskarshamn.<br />

Here on the farm, there are exciting new projects every day. Pick<br />

your own berries and vegetables and enjoy delicious coffee and<br />

meals in our cafe.<br />

Slottsholmen - Västervik<br />

The food at Slottsholmen is inspired by the memories Björn Ulvaeus,<br />

who grew up in Västervik, and taste experiences from shows and performances<br />

across the world. On our menus, the local meets the exotic.<br />

Brygghuset - Vimmerby<br />

Here, local produce is everything. From our plates you eat food<br />

from selected producers around us, while you’re sitting on furniture<br />

made by craftspeople in Vimmerby. Even the ale from the tap<br />

and water in your glass is literally from next door.<br />

Astrid Lindgren’s Näs - Vimmerby<br />

At the farm of Näs, at the beginning of the 20th century, a little girl<br />

finds her first story. It sets her mind in motion, so much so that it<br />

never stops.<br />

Swedish Rock Archive – The Walk - Hultsfred<br />

40-odd physical signs take you on a route from the venue Klubben.<br />

There is also an accompanying app “Hultsfred – The Walk”, which<br />

features music, film clips, facts and experiences.<br />

Kalmar Castle - Kalmar<br />

Kalmar’s oldest attraction looks much the same as it did in 1592,<br />

but there’s still a lot to discover. Here you’ll find both permanent<br />

and temporary exhibitions with a range of themes.<br />

Greta Garbo Museum, Högsby – Högsby<br />

Greta Garbo is in the top five most famous Swedes of all time. At<br />

the museum in Högsby, you can follow her career with the help of<br />

fantastic studio images, archive films and much more.<br />

Kingdom of Glass<br />

Småland’s Kingdom of Glass has been creating magic since 1742.<br />

These unique glass artworks are renowned the world over and<br />

can be found in many Swedish homes. Meet the craftspeople and<br />

artists here.<br />

Smalspåret narrow gauge railway - Hultsfred<br />

Cycle on a trolley or travel on a nostalgic train along a winding<br />

narrow gauge railway that takes you through dark forests and open<br />

landscapes. Start from Hultsfred, Flaten or Virserum, or from<br />

Hultsfred to Västervik.<br />

Blå jungfrun - Oskarshamn<br />

Off the coast at Oskarshamn, she towers on the horizon: Blå<br />

Jungfrun, the legendary, mysterious island. Fantastic nature and a<br />

sense of peace that money can’t buy.<br />

Archipelago tours in Västervik - Västervik<br />

Experience an archipelago tour with an activity guide, out in unspoilt<br />

nature! Meet grey seals that can be up to three metres long,<br />

and have the chance to spot a majestic sea eagle.<br />

More Kastell – Högsby<br />

Here you’ll find Småland’s own Grand Canyon, with its dramatic<br />

scree, cliffs and running water, and a fine flora of mosses and<br />

lichens. An 8 km long ravine, widened and deepened by the huge<br />

volume of water created when inland ice melted 12,000 years ago.<br />

Jungnerholmarna – Mönsterås<br />

A beautiful area for walking in Fliseryd. This area is in a unique<br />

environment with exciting industrial history and valuable nature,<br />

by the river Emån.<br />
