DResearch – User manual TeleObserver TO3100 2011-02-03 4.5 Device access using the FTP-Server The system provides a direct access to the update directory. This directory can be used as transfer directory (for exchange) and to perform firmware updates. The path to the directory is: ftp://10.32.xy/update By entering the respective IP-address of the system in conjunction with the path to the update directory is the possibility of the reader access. Write access is not possible using a browser application. Make this either a network ressource or use a FTP software. The FTP server is availabe using the user remote and a password which is set in the system settings. 5 Device configuration with the Software CMS:: System Management Note: Use always the actual version of the configuration software. Before a connection to the system can established a HOST with the appropriate IP-address must be created. Module of the CMS software: � DResearch Vision – Receiving of live pictures und active alarm management � DResearch ImageFinder – analysis of recorded data of the video system � DResearch SystemManagement - configuration of the system � Extended – program specific settings � The CMS consists of the modules Vision, ImageFinder and SystemManagement. Only the system management module is relevant for the configuration of the recorder. There is a detailed description of the CMS software in the software manual. At the following pages only the module CMS::SystemManagement will described. Configuration should only be conducted by the manufacturer’s authorised specialist.
