A loud, colourful parade! The creativity of electronic cultures
takes to the streets of Paris following a different severalkilometre-long
route every year - music fi lls the air and
dance, digital arts, fi ne arts, street arts and more fi ll the
pavements. Sound systems blare as DJs spin their decks
riding their fl oats and the streets are transformed into a huge
dance fl oor. Join in the Techno Parade for a huge outdoor
party!

We Love Green
14 TO 16 SEPTEMBER
PARIS 16 TH ARRONDISSEMENT
This event is environmentally-friendly by design, and aims
to manage its environmental and social impact, and to raise
public awareness for the green cause. From its very fi rst year
in 2011 it entered the closed circle of the twelve festivals
recognised by the Greener Festival Award around the world.
Which we think is pretty good! We Love Green also decided
that environmentally-friendly citizenship could be fun! So
for three days, it will be producing green music at the Parc
de Bagatelle with an eclectic range of upbeat pop and rock,
psychedelic funk and green electro. The line-up includes
Norah Jones, The Rapture, Beirut, Camille, Klaxons, Django
Django, Electric gest and more. And there will also be fi lms,
exhibitions, organic food tasting, green events for kids and an
association area where you can meet Emmaüs, GoodPlanet,
GreenPeace, Universcience and WWF.
Parc de Bagatelle, Bois de Boulogne, Sèvres gate, access via Route

Festival d’Ile-de-France
8 SEPTEMBER TO 14 OCTOBER
PARIS REGION
Every year, this festival spreads its eclectic programme
around a number of sites in the Paris region. It is open to all
kinds of music: classical, baroque, jazz, world, electro music
and more… This year the theme is the music of Diasporas,
which it will cover with around thirty concerts. It starts on 8
September with a Nuit de l’accordéon at Le Trianon (Paris
18th arrondissement). This is followed on 9 September at
the Domaine de Villarceaux, with an event themed around
the melting pot of New York. On 14 September, a wandering
klezmer clarinet concert provides its contemporary vision of
the Diaspora. On 28 to 30 September, the Cirque d’Hiver will
be honouring Cesária Évora. On 4 October, the Gaîté lyrique
will be giving a trendy electro evening called ‘Génération
Berlin’ and on 13 October, we’ll be travelling to Beirut at the
Institut du Monde Arabe together with Zad Moultaka…
