People here are always in the mood for boules and afternoon tea on the
water’s edge, cocktails and dancing, and romantic strolls. And they also have
a knack for coming up with exuberantly harebrained events.
FESTIVAL
• FUTUR EN SEINE
14 to 24 June
Here, you’ll fi nd every possible kind of digital
innovation! It’s all at the Centquatre on 16 and 17
June – then it will make its way round a host of other
regional events. Look out for the robots that are set to
become part of everyday life!

SHOW
• POINT ÉPHÉMÈRE
This arts centre combines exhibitions, shows, concerts
and out-of-the-ordinary events. From 11 to 17 June,
it will be hosting a dance festival, while 30 June and 1
July will see it open for a record fair, children’s party,
workshops and concerts celebrating independent
labels and electro music. And from 20 July to 20
August, 6 – 9:30 pm, it will be hosting Apéro Mix:
featuring a selection of DJs to sip cocktails to as you
dandle your feet in the water and dance in the streets!

This installation, a collection of stretched rubber
bands, brings together structure, spectator and artist.
And it’s a great excuse to explore the vast halls of the
Centquatre at the nexus of artistic and creative life,
with its public squares and studios, and its places to
wander or to treat yourself to a delicious meal.
