• PTÉRODACTYLES 3D, THE NEW FILM AT THE GÉODE
The Géode is a 36 metre high, mirror-fi nished geodesic dome which holds a
400-seat theatre inclined at 27° and boasts a 1000 m2 hemispherical screen.
This is one of the ten most popular cinemas in the world. Experience it by
spending 40 minutes with the fl ying monsters in Ptérodactyles 3D.
220 million years ago, at the start of the age of the dinosaurs, another group
of reptiles, the pterosaurs, were already defying the laws of gravity. How could
this incredible creature as large as a giraffe get off the ground? With the help
of cutting edge animation and technology, the English naturalist Sir David
Attenborough explores this great paleontological enigma from Texas to China.

It’s like Piccadilly Circus! Seventeen
artists from Compagnie XY are reexamining
the codes of circuses and
the techniques used by acrobats. In
Le Grand C, the group leap and twist to
create constructions which they then
immediately destroy through living
acrobatic “sculptures” of clustered and
interlocked bodies. Determined to get
in the air and not come down again,
each talented performer of this twisted
collection combines to form a piece of
living art, which is funny, powerful and
moving.
