Haven Feb. 4, 1929. Formerly of Wallingford, he moved to North Haven two years ago.<br />
He was a self-employed builder, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Northford<br />
Congregational Church. in Northford section of North Branford and was a trustee of the<br />
church. He was also a member of the NRA and Raccoon Club of Haddam. besides his<br />
wife, he leaves daughters Esther A. Kopylec of Wallingford, and Kathleen E. Kopylec of<br />
Guilford; a stepdaughter, Bonnie Tobits of Higganum; a stepson Arthur R. Westover, Jr.,<br />
of East Haddam; brothers John Kopylec of Guilford and Joseph Kopylec in New York;<br />
sisters Mary Gould in Vermont; Anna Delavally and Theresa Wayne of North Haven and<br />
Holly Williams of Wallingford. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of<br />

KOPYLEC, Michael<br />
MICHAEL KOPYLEC, 68, died at his home in Glen Campbell R.D. November 8 at<br />
10:10 p.m., after a lingering illness. He was born in Austria July 8, 1884, and came to<br />
America in 1907. He was united in marriage to Anastacia Lovaski in 1914, who<br />
preceded him in death in 1944. To this union there were three sons and three daughters,<br />
who survive: George of Glen Campbell, Andy of Wilmington, Del., Paul at home, Mrs.<br />
Mary Hosey of Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Anna Lentz at home, Kathryn at home. There are<br />
five grandchildren; also one sister, Mrs. Nancy Holobinko of Wood, Pa. There will be a<br />
short service at the home Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock. Mass will be sung <strong>by</strong> the<br />
Rev. S. Krywnak at 9:00 a.m. in the S.S. Peter and Paul Church, Urey. Burial will follow<br />
in the church cemetery. Friends will be received at the home after 7 p.m. this evening.<br />

Kopylec, Stephen, In Bradford, July 4, 1991. Husband of Catharine Eliason Kopylec of<br />
25 Tommy's Path, Northford, father of Stephen M., Wayne A. and Carol L. Kopylec.<br />
brother of Mary Gould, Anna DellaValle, Theresa (Terry) Wayne, Alice (Holly)<br />
Williams, John, Joseph and Michael Kopylec. also survived <strong>by</strong> four grandchildren.<br />
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington<br />
Ave., Tues morning at 10 o'clock. The visiting hours will be Monday from 4-8 p.m. in<br />

VERNIE L. BRINK SUNDERLIN KOPYLEC, 90, of Glen Campbell, died Sunday, Feb.<br />
27, 1994, at Glenwood Convalescent Home, Glen Campbell. The daughter of Anthony<br />
Brink and Josephine Brink Falisec Wolenski, she was born Aug. 8, 1903, in Glen<br />
Campbell R.D. A housewife, Mrs. Kopylec was a member of St. Michael's Roman<br />
Catholic Church, Glen Campell, where she was a member of the Rosary Society.<br />
Surviving are six children: Harry Sunderlin, Westover; Robert Sunderlin, Glen<br />
Campbell; Thomas Sunderlin, Cleveland, Ohio; Charles Sunderlin, Burnside; Josephine<br />
Wiliams, Girard, Ohio; 32 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren; and one sister,<br />
Margaret Janocha, Glen Campbell R.D. 1. She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her parents, her
