LAWRISKI, Mary (Berezansky)<br />

Mary Berezansky Lawriski, 69, of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., formerly of Dixonville, died<br />

Wednesday, April 8, 1987, in the Isabella County Medical Care Center Mt. Pleasant,<br />

Mich. A daughter of Wasil and Helen Truhan Berezansky, she was born Oct. 16,1917, at<br />

Osceola Mills. Mrs. Lawriski was a member of St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church,<br />

Dixonville. She had been a beautician in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., for many years where she<br />

owned and operated her own shop. Surviving are these brothers and sisters: John<br />

Berezansky and Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Otersin both of Dixonville, Frank Berezansky of<br />

Clymer, Metro Berezansky of Bellevue, Ohio, Mrs. Sue Jordan of Leesburg, Fla., Alex<br />

Berezansky of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Cathy White of Shoemakersville, Pa.; and several<br />

nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her parents and her husband, Michael<br />

Lawriski. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Friday) at the Bence<br />

Funeral Home, Clymer, where a Parastas service will be held at 8 p.m. today. Requiem<br />

Divine Liturgy will be offered in St. John's Church, Dixonville, at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.<br />

Rev. Fr. George Hnatko will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the church<br />

Beccaria Funeral services for Lewis Lazaration, local resident who died suddenly at his<br />

home here Friday, were held from the Greek Catholic Church in Ramey this morning at 9<br />

a.m. Rev Onuphry Kowalsky officiated and interment was in the church cemetery at<br />

Beulah--Surviving him is his widow Anna, and the following children: Charles and John,<br />

NYC Eva wife of Walter Lakosta, Richmond Hills, LI NY, Metro, Russel, Nickols and<br />

Frank all of NY. Died 1/21/1949 (The Progress, Clearfield , PA, Mon. Jan 24, 1949)<br />

Note: SSA 191-10-4824 in 1936 he was working for Hale Coal Co. PO Box 208,<br />

Funeral of Mrs. Lazarisin<br />

Barnesboro, April 12 Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Lazarisin aged 44, wife of<br />

Wasco Lazarisin who died last Thursday in the Spangler Hospital were held yesterday<br />

afternoon in St. Mary's Greek Catholic Church. Interment was in the church cemetery in<br />

charge of undertaker M. J. Bacha. (The Tribune, Johnstown, PA, April 12, 1926)<br />

Charles Lazeration, 85, of 24-49 26th St, Astoria, Queens, NY formerly of Cairnbrook,<br />

died at 9 a.m. April 10, 1957, at home of son, John. Born December 22,1871 in Austria.<br />

Preceded in death <strong>by</strong> wife, former Kathryn Takarchek, survived <strong>by</strong> these children: John<br />

with who he resided past 4 yrs; Mrs. Ann Williams, Los Angeles, Calif; Mrs. Margaret<br />

Taylor and Mrs. Louise Drake, both of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Catherine Stuart, Johnstown.<br />

Brother of Frank, Rochester, NY; Mrs. Magdelene Russin, Madera, and George, Austria.<br />
