Dorothy J. (Bungo) Kropinsky, 76, of Smithmill, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at<br />

5:00 AM at her residence. Dorothy was born on Aug. 16, 1935, in Janesville, a daughter<br />

of the late Stephen and Nancy (Chetlewicz) Bungo. She was a 1954 graduate of the<br />

former Madera High School and was employed as a stamper at the former Denol<br />

Bookbinding Co. of Philipsburg for 20 years. She also was a homemaker. Dorothy was a<br />

parishioner of Christ The King Catholic Church of Houtzdale. Dorothy married Steve P.<br />

Kropinsky in the former St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Houtzdale. Steve survives of<br />

Smithmill. Dorothy is also survived <strong>by</strong> two brothers, Metro "Mitch" Bungo and his wife<br />

Chris of Harrisburg and Frank Bungo and his wife Alice of Mentor, OH. A number of<br />

nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in<br />

death <strong>by</strong> four sisters, Kay Fensore, Helen Brennan, Mary Rogers and Anne Kushner and<br />

2 brothers, Wasco "Chuck" Bungo and Mike Bungo. Friends will be received on Tuesday<br />

from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Wed. from 8:30 - 9:15 Am at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc.<br />

Ramey. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed. Aug. 8 at 10:00 AM in<br />

Christ The King Catholic Church, Houtzdale, with Fr. Stanley J. Swacha as celebrant.<br />

Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery Ramey. Online condolences<br />

KRUPINSKI, Susan (Warholak)<br />

January 28, 1995 Susan Krupinski, a resident of the Taylor Nursing and Rehabilitation<br />

Center, formerly of the Bellevue section of Scranton, died Saturday at the home. She was<br />

the widow of Stanley Krupinski Sr., who died Dec. 30, 1989. Born in Osceola Mills,<br />

daughter of the late Michael and Mary Warholak, she was a graduate of West Scranton<br />

High School. Prior to retirement, she was employed <strong>by</strong> Capital Records and Atlas<br />

Industries, both of Scranton. She was a member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Catholic<br />

Church. Surviving area son, Stanley, Scranton; seven sisters, Eva Husanita, Dunmore;<br />

Julie Kozy, Taylor; Catherione Marcinko, Mount Vernon, N.Y.; Anna Krasawski,<br />

Anastasia Wallick, Theodora Kmiotek and Margaret Qubick, all of Bridgeport, Conn.;<br />

two brothers, Joseph, Willingboro, N.J., and Theodore, Bethel, Conn.; nieces and<br />

nephews. She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> four brothers, Paul, Charles, John, and Michael; a<br />

sister Mary Brown. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Edward Chomko<br />

Funeral Home, 262 Railroad Ave., with Divine Liturgy at 9:30 in St. Vladimir's<br />

Ukrainian Catholic Church, to be celebrated <strong>by</strong> Monsignor Raymond Revak, pastor.<br />

Interment, parish cemetery, Minooka section. Friends may call Tuesday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9<br />

p.m. Parastas, Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.<br />
