Graveside military services for John B. Katcher, 78, of 31 Sample Bridge Road, Silver<br />

Spring Township, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Emmanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry.<br />

He died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 1998 at home. Born Sept. 28, 1919 in Smoke Run to the late<br />

Alex and Katherine Bungo Katcher, he was a retired electrician with the International<br />

Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 143, Harrisburg. He was a member of<br />

the VFW of Harrisburg and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Katcher is<br />

survived <strong>by</strong> his wife, Mary M. Lipka Katcher; a daughter, Gloria J. Samples of<br />

Lewisberry; a son Jerry L. Katcher of Frederick, Md.; two sisters, Helen Vujevic of<br />

Hinkley, Ohio and Ann Rusnak of Ginter; three brothers, Charles Catcher of San Diego,<br />

Calif., Frank Katcher of Alanpo, Calif. and Stanley Katcher of Olmstead, Calif.; and two<br />

grandchildren. The Rev. Donald E. Potter will officiate at services. Friends may call from<br />

noon until 1:30 p.m. in Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg.<br />

KEPHART, Mrs. Mary (Bungo)<br />

WINBURNE - Mrs. Marv Kephart of Winburne died this morning at the Philipsburg<br />

State General Hospital. Born in Smithmill Feb. 10, 1911, she was the daughter of Wasco<br />

and Eva (Cyktich) Bungo. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of<br />

Clearfield, and the Kylertown Grange. She was an employee of the W. T. Rawleigh Co.<br />

Mrs. Kephart was first married to Stanley Plisco who preceded her in death in 1946. She<br />

then married Ezekiel Kephart who died in 1965. Mrs. Kephart Is survived <strong>by</strong> these<br />

children: Mrs. Denver (Rose) Kephart and Thomas Plisco, both of Winburne, Mrs. Jahn<br />

(Francine) Relse, Riverside, Cal.; Patricia Plisco, Mt. Vernon, Ohio; Mrs. Mark (Mary<br />

Kay) Strickland, Canaan, Maine, Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Anderson and Marsha Kephart,<br />

both of Philipsburg. Thirteen, grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.<br />

Brothers and sisters surviving are Mrs. John (Anna) Torick, Southberry, Conn.; Metro<br />

Bungo, Clifton, N.J.; Eva Bungo, Patterson, N.J.; Mrs. Pierre (Irene) Llgeour, Clifton,<br />

N.J.; Joseph Bungo, Totowa, N.J.; and Mrs. Michael (Margaret) Kachur, Little Falls,<br />

N.J., Mrs. Kephart was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her parents, both husbands and one son.<br />

Friends will be received at the Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals, Morrisdale, from<br />

7 p.m. Thursday until time of service Friday which will be at 11 a.m. at the chapel of the<br />

funeral home. Pastor C. Leon Strickland will officiate and interment will follow in the<br />

Messiah Baptist Cemetery, Kylertown. (The Progress, Clearfield, PA, February 13,<br />

Mrs. Anna Kimack, Nanty Glo, Expires<br />

Mrs. Anna (Rusyn) Kimack of 45 Springfield, Nanty Glo, died Feb. 24, 1975, at Indiana<br />

Hospital. Mrs. Kimack, who was 66, was born June 23, 1908, in Smithmill, Pa., a<br />

daughter of Frank and Nancy (Nedrich) Rusyn. She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her parents,<br />

and husband, Michael. Surviving are these children: Michael, married to the former Ethel<br />

Callahan, Patton; Nancy, wife of John Silva, Gallitzin; William, married to the former<br />

Ruth Sisco, Euclid, O.; James, married to the former Emma Noble, Nancy Glo; Betty,<br />

wife of Mello Mash, Vintondale; and John, at home. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren<br />

and these sisters and brothers: Christine Starkjohnn, Helen Buran and Kay Getto, all of<br />

New York; Frances Fowler, Philipsburg; Julie Fitzgerald, Florida; John, Smithmill, and<br />

William, Houtzdale. Friends were received at the Richard D. Ondriezek Funeral Home in
