Catholic of Ramey and of Lodge No. 38 of Ramey. Funeral services will be held at 9<br />
o'clock Wednesday morning from the St. Marys Church with the Rev. Jeremiah Onuferka<br />
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends are being received today and<br />
tomorrow at Mr. Kost's late home at Smoke Run. (The Progress, Clearfield, PA, February<br />

KOST , Anna (Tokarchick)<br />
KOST - Anna, 90, of Altoona, formerly a longtime resident of St. Benedict, died<br />
Saturday, April 15, 2006. She was born in Madera, Clearfield County, a daughter of the<br />
late Wasco and Eva (Tutonich) Tocarchick. She married William Kost on Aug. 3, 1936,<br />
in Spangler. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1957. Mrs. Kost is survived <strong>by</strong> sons,<br />
Robert (Helen E.) Kost of St. Benedict and Lawrence M. (Virginia C.) Kost of Burke,<br />
Va.; daughters, Barbara A. (Patrick E.) Bender of Tucson, Ariz.; M. Joan Hein of<br />
Pittsburgh; Sandra M. (Thomas) Gaydosh of Dubois; Darlene N. (Matthew) McCaulley<br />
of Hollidaysburg; Linda J. (Domenico G.) Giambanco of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and Debra<br />
H. (William D.) Deuchar of Ruckersville, Va.; 13 grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren;<br />
a brother, Metro (Bertha) Tocarchick of Tonawanda, N.Y.; sisters, Mary<br />
(Joseph) Meiers of Zelienople, Helen (Jack) Schmidt of Pittsburgh, Nancy (John) Krajnik<br />
of Erie and Ethel (Thomas) Clifford of Westlake, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews<br />
and cousins. She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> brothers, Frank (Helen) Tocarchick and<br />
George (Mary Ann) Tocarchick and sisters, Kathryn (Frank) Rapack and Margaret (Fred)<br />
DuPlaga; and five infant siblings; also son-in-law, Peter R. Zanoviak. Mrs. Kost was a<br />
member of the Altoona Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved to read the<br />
Bible, travel and take care of her flowers and house plants. Friends will be received from<br />
noon until the 1 p.m. time of memorial service Saturday, April 22, 2006, at the Kingdom<br />
Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 141 Post Office Road, St. Benedict, Pa. Contributions in<br />
memory of Anna may be made to the Altoona Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses,<br />
1308 24th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16601. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Northern<br />

KOST, Julia (Kotzak)<br />
Smoke Run- Mrs. Julia Kost wife of Alexander Kost died at her home at 8 a.m. Friday<br />
morning, July 10. A daughter of John & Anna Kotzak. She was born in Austria, and came<br />
to the United states in 1894. Where she was united in marriage to Alexander Kost in<br />
1895. They were married in Ramey. Survived <strong>by</strong> her husband and the following children.<br />
Basil Kost of Tyrone, John J. Kost of Nantichoke, Frank Kost of New York, Metro Kost<br />
of Meadville, Mrs. Ann Koepke and Mary & Andrew Kost all of Smoke Run. There are 8<br />
grandchildren and these brother and sisters also surviving: Mrs. Mary Roonsky, Mrs.<br />
Anna Starsky, Mrs. Alice Kitchko, Basil Kotzak all of Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral Services<br />
were held Monday July 13 at 9 a.m. in the St. Mary's Greek Catholic Church, Ramey,<br />
with Fr. Kowalsky as celebrant of the Requiem Mass. (The Progress, Clearfield, Pa. July<br />
