About 80% of diesel engine operating costs are fuel<br />
costs. To maximise engine efficiency and low<br />
emissions, electronic control and monitoring systems<br />
are often required. In the past, harsh operating conditions such<br />
as fluid pulsation, temperature variations and vibrations made<br />

However, KRAL offers a robust fuel consumption measurement<br />
system with a precision of ±0.1%, reproducibility of 0.01% and a<br />
measurement range of up to 100:1. About 60% of the system is<br />
used to measure heavy fuel oil, 30% is used to measure diesel oil<br />
with the remainder operated in dual fuel mode.<br />

engine on a central display. Low precision flow meters are not<br />
suitable for fuel consumption measurement.<br />

changeovers and is suitable for HFO, MDO and continuous<br />
