Kathleen A. BECK, 56, Fort Wayne, formerly of Rochester, died at noon Friday at
Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, following complications from heart surgery.
Born in Rochester to Lester and Lily MLEKODAJ BECK, she moved from Rochester to
Fort Wayne in 1967.
Miss Beck was a chemist at Falstaff Brewery, Fort Wayne, and an artist. She was
graduated from Rochester High School in 1963 and from Indiana University in 1967. She was a
member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
Survivors include four sisters, Judy CLAUS and husband Chris, Philadelphia, Penn.,
Francine BECK, Denver, Colo., Teresa BECK, Grand Rapids, Mich., Julia DILL, Roanoke, Va.;
two brothers, Larry BECK, Stevens Point, Wisc., Robert BECK, Urbana; several nieces and
nephews.
Preceding in death were her parents and one brother, Alan BECK, in 1987.
Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rochester, with Rev. Joe
JACOB officiating. Burial will be at Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m.
today at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
memorials be made to the Parkview Behavioral Health Center, in care of Parkview Hospital
Foundation, Fort Wayne.
Margaret L. Sutton
Aug. 6, 1915 – Jan. 27, 2002
Margaret L. SUTTON, 86, Logansport, died at 3:40 a.m. Sunday at Chase Center,
Logansport.
Born in Logansport to John and Opal CONRAD SPENCER, she married Charles “Bud”
SUTTON Sept. 7, 1940 in Flora. He died Nov. 30, 1983.
Mrs. Sutton, formerly of Lucerne, worked at Sirken Distributors, Rochester, and Chase
Center, Logansport. She attended Fletcher’s Lake United Methodist Church, where she was a
member of the women’s group.
Survivors include one daughter, Pattie ARMSTRONG and husband Vance, Lucerne; two
grandsons, Tom ROUSH and wife Laurie, Portage, Troy ROUSH and wife Jennifer, Lucerne; one
great-grandson, Cole ROUSH.
Preceding in death with her husband were one infant daughter, Carol Sue SUTTON, and
two brothers, Jack and Marion SPENCER.
Services are at 2 p.m. Wednes-day at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Fulton, with Rev.
David SOMMERS officiating. Burial will be at Metea Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m.
Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to Fletcher’s
Lake United Methodist Church.

Frances L. Marshall
April 5, 1920 – Jan. 28, 2002
Frances L. MARSHALL, 81, 208 S. West St., Akron, died at 4:40 p.m. Monday at
Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
Born in Kosciusko County to Glen and Pearl RHYNERSON HOLLOWAY, she married
Mace Eugene MARSHALL June 14, 1939 in Mentone. He died Feb. 3, 2001.
