Francis RINER, 60, died at 7:50 a.m. today at her Etna Green residence. Arrangements<br />

are pending at King Memorial Home, Mentone.<br />

Sept. 6, 1945 – Feb. 11, <strong>2002</strong><br />

Rita Ann SHRIVER, 56, 4764 Camp Shohola Dr., died at 10:03 a.m. Monday at<br />

Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, following a short illness.<br />

Born in Michigan City to Herbert and Ardith GILLILAND, she married Larry G.<br />

SHRIVER in 1966 in Rochester. <strong>The</strong>y later divorced.<br />

Mrs. Shriver lived most of her life in Rochester, except for 10 years in Alaska, where she<br />

graduated from high school in 1965. She was a member of First Assembly of God, Rochester. She<br />

was a Woodlawn Hospital nurse’s aide and Home Health Care Services worker.<br />

Survivors include three sons, Daniel G. [SHRIVER], Donald R. [SHRIVER] and wife<br />

Bethany C., and David A. [SHRIVER], all of Rochester; one granddaughter, Samantha Marie<br />

SHRIVER, Rochester; her mother, Ardith GILLILAND, Isanti, Minn.; one sister, Anita<br />

BRIETZMAN and husband Rudy, Zimmerman, Minn.; one brother, Richard GILLILAND, Isanti,<br />

Minn.; several nieces and nephews.<br />

Preceding in death was her father in 1998.<br />

Services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God, Indiana 14 and Sweetgum<br />

Road, with Rev. Robert GEORGE officiating. Burial will be at Reichter Cemetery, northeast of<br />

Rochester. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church and one hour prior to<br />

services. Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.<br />

Feb. 12, 1941 – Feb. 11, <strong>2002</strong><br />

Francis L. RINER, 60, died at 7:50 a.m. Monday at her Etna Green residence. She had<br />

been in failing health two and one-half years.<br />

Born in Akron to Raymond and Lucille NICODEMUS LEWIS, she married Larry Kay<br />

RINER Aug. 28, 1959. He survives.<br />

Mrs. Riner, a homemaker, was a lifetime area resident.<br />

Surviving with her husband, at home, are her mother, Lucille LEWIS, Akron; two<br />

daughters, Debra EPPLE and husband Eric, Etna Green, Janelle RINER, Etna Green; three sons,<br />

Brian [RINER] and wife Krista, Carrollton, Texas, Jeff [RINER], Washington, D.C., Collin<br />

[RINER], Indian-apolis; seven grandchildren; one sister, Betty HOLLOWAY and husband Jack,<br />

Kewanna; one brother, Harold LEWIS and wife Ann, Perrysburg.<br />

Services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with Rev.<br />

Richard BORGMAN officiating. Burial will be at Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green. Friends<br />

may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
