Jerry Lee PLETCHER, 63, died at 10:25 a.m. Thursday at his 213 E. Walnut St., Akron,
residence.
Born in Warsaw to Joseph Donald and Viola K. HAUSER PLETCHER, he married
Bonnie J. GRUBBS July 2, 1955 in Aurora. She survives.
Mr. Pletcher was an engineer at Baron C & G Corp. Mobile Homes, Elkhart.
Surviving with his wife, at home, are three daughters, Debra WOLFE and husband
James, Pennie WARD and husband Kenrey, Cindy BUCHER and husband Jerry, all of Akron; one
son, William Max [PLETCHER] and wife Espie, Safford, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren;
three sisters and one brother.
Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with Rev. J.P.
FREEMAN officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Mentone Cemetery. Friends may call one
hour prior to services.
Raymond Neely
Raymond NEELY, 72, 300 E. Fourth St., died at 8:40 a.m. today at Hickory Creek of
Rochester. Arrangements are pending at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.

Raymond K. Neely
June 22, 1929 - March 8, 2002
Raymond K. NEELY, 72, 300 E. 4th St., Rochester, passed away at 8:40 a.m. Friday,
March 8, at Hickory Creek Health Care Center, Rochester.
Born on June 22, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky he was the son of William L. & Mildred
(BROOKS) NEELY. He married Cora L. BENEFIEL on Aug. 1, 1971 in Logansport, she
survives.
He was a retired steam plant fire tender at the Logansport State Hospital, and was a
member of the First Assembly of God Church in Logansport, Indiana.
Survivors including his wife are, two step-daughters, Sue K. and husband Tim
McFARLAND, Rochester; Martha Ellen and husband Tim ROLLAND, Riverview, FL; four stepsons,
Gene and wife Teena BAKER; Larry and wife Reba K. BAKER, both of Logansport; Jerry
and wife Gladys BAKER, Cleveland, TN; and Michael R. PRICE, Rochester. 16 grandchildren
and 29 great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester with
Rev. Robert GEORGE officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home
and one hour prior to service. Burial will be at the Zion Cemetery in Lucerne, IN.

Mary Kathryn HISEY, 74, of 2047 N. Old U.S. 31, Rochester, died March 6 at her
residence after an unexpected illness.
Born October 19, 1927 in Marshall County to Harley & Willodean SHIVELY BECK, she
lived most of her life in the Rochester Community, coming from the Fulton & Mt. Zion areas. On
