July 21, 1924 – Feb. 26, <strong>2002</strong><br />

B. Arlene McVAY, 77, died at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday at her residence at Life Care Center of<br />

Rochester.<br />

Born in <strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong> to Edward and Huldah PHAY EASTERDAY, she married Owen<br />

E. McVAY April 26, 1944 in Burnettsville. He survives.<br />

Mrs. McVay, a homemaker, was a member of Baptist-Christian Church, Royal Center,<br />

and a 1942 Grass Creek High School graduate. She enjoyed reading, crafts and traveling.<br />

Surviving with her husband, at home, are three daughters, Darla KUMLER and husband<br />

Robert, Donna RIDDLE and husband Duane, all of Rochester, and Cheryl WHITTINGTON and<br />

husband Lee, Logansport; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene<br />

EASTERDAY, Salem, Tenn., Everett EASTERDAY, Kewanna; one sister, Mildred ENGLE,<br />

Kewanna.<br />

Preceding in death were her parents, one son, Michael [McVAY], and one daughter,<br />

Rhonda [McVAY].<br />

Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Royal Center, with<br />

Rev. Fred SHELTON officiating. Burial will be at Royal Center Cemetery. Friends may call from<br />

5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and after 8 a.m. Friday until time of service. Memorials<br />

may be made to Baptist-Christian Church, Royal Center, or the Diabetes Association.<br />

Raymond B. Knyzer<br />

July 7, 1933 – Feb. 27, <strong>2002</strong><br />

Raymond B. KNYZER, 68, South Bend, died at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday at Regency Place<br />

Health Care, South Bend, where he had resided for one month.<br />

Born in Cook <strong>County</strong>, Ill. to Bruno and Estelle STANISLOVAITIS KNYZER, he lived<br />

in South Bend since 1996, coming from Paylos Hills and Cicero, Ill.<br />

Mr. Knyzer was a retired machinist at Phoells Screw Co., Cicero, Ill.<br />

Survivors include one sister, <strong>The</strong>resa “Terry” MARTIN and husband Anthony, Argos;<br />

one niece, Janet WRIGHT and husband Dave, Tinley Park, Ill.; one nephew, Keith CONDON and<br />

wife Debbie, Lockport, Ill.; three great-nieces and two great-nephews.<br />

Preceding in death were his parents.<br />

Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos. Burial will be at<br />

Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where<br />

a prayer vigil will be held. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.<br />

Kenneth A. ENYART, 80, Ocala Fla., formerly of Rochester, died at 3:30 a.m. today at<br />

Estelle’s Hospice House Care, Ocala. Arrangements are pending at Foster & Good Funeral Home.
