Pienso que para los belarusos tambiénsería interesante visitar Isla de Libertad, conocer la cultura y tradicionesde Cuba. Cuando se acabe la etapa de inestabilidad relacionadaa la crisis económica la cantidad de turistas que vienen a Cubava a crecer. Cuba es uno de los países latinoamericanos más atractivoscon el sector turístico que se desarrolla con dinamismo. Es ungran centro de turismo, paraíso para el descanso. No tenemos nadaartificial. Hemos podido conservar nuestra naturaleza en su estadovirgen. Además, Cuba es un país en el cual se une el pasado de diferentespueblos lo que es la base para el turismo histórico.Tenemos intención de activizar nuestras relaciones con lasagencias de viajes belarusas. La publicidad en la esfera de turismoes muy importante. Quisieramos organizar vuelos directos entreMinsk y La Habana. Todavía soñamos con esto, pero a lo mejor undía esto será realidad. El pueblo cubano conoce Belarús, muchoscubanos dominan el idioma ruso. Tenemos todas las condicionespara recibir los turistas de Belarús en Cuba. De año en año la cantidadde los turistas belarusos que quieren conocer Cuba crece. Elcrecimiento de la afluencia de los turistas de Belarús a Cuba alcanza120%. Moreover, Cuba is a country where histories of manypeoples are closely intertwined which makes our country ideal forthe tourists who are into learning new things all the time.We are looking forward to intensifying our contacts with Belarusiantravel operators. It is very important to advertise your travel product.We would like to launch a direct air service between Minsk andHavana. This is still a dream, but this service will hopefully appear oneday. The Cubans know about Belarus; many Cubans speak Russian. Wehave everything necessary to welcome Belarusian tourists. The numberof Belarusian tourists in Cuba is growing steadily, though slowlyevery year. The rate of growth of the number of Belarusian tourists inCuba is 120% per annum. Over 1,000 Belarusians visited Cuba in 2009,and I am convinced there will be many more in the future.Can Belarus be in any way attractive for Cuban tourists?Every Cuban would love to visit Belarus, a country wherethere is order, stability, high living standards, everything the Cubanpeople aspire to achieve, speaking nothing of such treasures andthe Belovezhskaya Pushcha, your forests, rivers and lakes. There aremany historic places of interest in Belarus that the Cubans are awareof. The Brest Fortress is a symbol of staunchness of the Belarusianpeople. The Cubans can relate to that. A pesar del establecimiento de lasrealciones diplomáticas en 1997 el volumen total de las transacciones bilaterales apenas alcanzaba quincemillones de dólares de EEUU. Pero en los años 2007-2009 la situación cambió cardinalmente. Hoy el volumentotal del intercambio de mercancías cuenta con centenares de millones de dólares, la base jurídica de lacooperación está representada por 70 documentos de diferente nivel, se realizan los proyectos conjuntos en laesfera petroquímica, construcción, industria, están establecidas estrechas relaciones culturales y científicas.Incluso cada alumno del colegio podrá contestar sin dificultad con qué país del Caribe Belarús tiene lasrelaciones a nivel de cooperación estratégica.
