Urges the National Olympic Committees to organize more frequently events relating to sport
and culture, and to strengthen their links with the cultural and artistic milieus in their respective
countries by creating, for example, a museum developed to sport and Olympism;
Invites the International Sport Federations to give greater prominence to the cultural content
of their sports;
Encourages the media to publicize the cultural events organized in connection with sports
events to highlight the cultural and educational aspect of sport;
Requests that the conceptual development of cultural programmes in the context of the
Olympic Games be studied;
Requests that the Olympic Museum publicize more widely its services and activities,
particularly those of the Olympic Studies Centre, and facilitate research relating to sport
and culture.
