10.14 Chest harness10.15 Trunk harnessTo change the width of the chest harness. Liftthe front cover, adjust the Velcro straps to thedesired width and replace the cover.When the child is out of the seating systemthe trunk harness will be open but remainattached by two side clips (A) on one sideand one pelvic harness clip (B). When placingthe child in the seating system bring thetrunk harness across the front and attach byconnecting the clips into the buckles on theother side (C).Connect the remaining straps into the pelvicharness or Pelvic Cradle by feeding themthrough the loop (D) and snapping into place.Then connect the shoulder straps (E) into theclips at the top.If your child is wearing outdoor clothing,the side straps can be opened by releasingthe snap fasteners. The pelvic harnessconnecting strap can be released by movingthe strap to the lower snap fastener position.All the connecting straps are adjustable bylifting the cover, adjusting to the desiredlength and replacing the cover.Check the laterals and harnessesregularly to ensure they have notbecome loose as without appropriatetrunk support the child may be at riskof slipping into a position they cannotrecover from. This could present achoking hazard.
