11.9 Sandals11.10 Tray adjustmentTo position the user’s feet in the sandalssecure the Velcro straps provided so the footis held in place. The straps should be placedover the bridge of the foot and over the toes.If the child is wearing sandals or lightfootwear check the straps to make surethe webbing does not irritate the skin.The activity tray can be used for a range offunctions and its position can be fine tunedto suit the user and the activity whether itis for fun, education or feeding. The tray isattached to the seat by inserting the traytubes through the centre of the armrest.Once the tray is located in the position theknob (A) should be tightened securely.Adjust the armrests to set the height andangle of the tray.A
11.11 Armrest adjustmentAlways use caution as fingers couldbecome trapped in the slot whenadjusting the height.Always use caution to ensure thechild’s hands or arms do not becometrapped when inserting the tray.Never use the tray to steer or pushthe chair.To adjust the height of the armrest loosenthe hand knob (B) set to the desired heightand retighten. To adjust the angle rotatehand knob (A) until the desired position hasbeen achieved.To remove the armrest completely for sidetransfer or assist in getting the child into orout of the seat loosen hand knob (C), presspopper (D) and lift the armrest.Do not place hot objects, greater than40 degrees Celsius on the tray..Please note that the tray is for the useof the user only. Do not lean or placeheavy objects on the tray, not greaterthan 8kgs (17.6lbs).ABCD
