12 Cleaning & CareInformationHow to MaintainWhen cleaning we recommend that youuse only warm water and a non-abrasivedetergent. Never use organic solvents or drycleaning fluids.Upholstery and fabrics1. The cushion covers can be removed,machine washed at 40ºC and tumble dried ata low temperature.Please remove the foam from thefollowing covers before washing:HeadrestShoulder supportBackrest cushionSeat base cushionAll other soft upholstery can be placedinto the washing machine intact, afterremoving bolts and fastenings.3. Staining should be removed as quicklyas possible with absorbent cloth, towels ora sponge. Routine soap and warm watersponging is effective for ordinary soilingand minor spills. Be careful not to over wetthe fabric as this will cause the stainingto spread.4 Antiseptic cleaning agents can be usedon more stubborn stains. These may requirea safe solvent such as Isopropyl Alcohol orMineral Spirit. A half cup of household bleachto 5 litres of water can also be used as auseful disinfectant.5. The pelvic and trunk harnesses can bemachine washed at 40 Deg C. Make sureall bolts and fasteners are removed first asthey may cause damage to your washingmachine. Store these in a safe place andout of reach from children.6 Always ensure the product is drybefore use.Metal and plastic components1. Soap and water or antibacterial spray canbe used for daily cleaning.2. For deep cleaning a low pressure steamcleaner can be used.3. Do not use solvents to clean plastic ormetal components.4.
