Volume of Fresh Fruit Bunches HarvestedThe amount of fresh fruit bunches we harvest per hectarevaries from year to year depending primarily on number ofoil palm plantations in prime production age, and thefollowing factors:kualitas benih;kondisi tanah dan topografi;pola cuaca lokal dan global;kerapatan tanaman;aplikasi pupuk;program pemeliharaan;bibit penyakit atau hama;jumlah panen;teknis panen;dampak dari kebakaran hutan;pemogokan buruh dan gangguan lain; sertabencana alam.quality of the oil palm seed;soil and topography condition of the land;local and global weather patterns;tree density;fertilizer application;upkeep program;disease or crop pests;number of harvesting round;harvesting technique;haze from forest fires;labor strikes or other disturbances; andnatural disasters.c. Proses Pengolahan dan Tingkat EkstraksiJumlah CPO yang diperoleh dari ekstraksi TBS sangattergantung pada kualitas dan tingkat kematangan TBSserta kecepatan pengiriman TBS ke pabrik pengolahan.Jika TBS tidak dikirim ke pabrik pengolahan dalam waktu24 jam, maka kualitas CPO akan terpengaruh. Oleh karenaitu, Perseroan seringkali memandang lebih efisien untukmembeli TBS dari pihak ketiga dan petani plasma, yangterletak disekitar area pabrik. Lebih lanjut, efisiensi daripabrik pengolahan juga mempengaruhi tingkat ekstraksi.Oleh karena itu, kami memelihara pabrik pengolahansecara teratur untuk memastikan tingkat efisiensi operasi.Dari kebun yang telah mencapai umur optimum, kamidapat mengekstrak CPO sebanyak 5,9 sampai 7,1 ton,atau kira-kira 23,5% dari berat TBS. Produksi puncak terjadipada tahun ke-tujuh sampai ke-18 pertumbuhan.Kami berharap tingkat ekstraksi kami meningkat karenaintensifnya pengumpulan berondolan sawit yang terjatuhpada saat panen dan pengurangan kehilangan minyakselama pemrosesan.c. Milling Process and Extraction RatesThe amount of crude palm oil we can extract from freshfruit bunches depends primarily on the quality and ripenessof the fresh fruit bunches and the speed at which we candeliver fresh fruit bunches to the mills. Fresh fruit bunchesmust be transported from plantation to our mills within 24hours, otherwise the quality of CPO will be impacted. Inview of this,it is sometimes more efficient to purchase freshfruit bunches from third parties and landholders under theplasma program in the surrounding areas. Furthermore,the efficiency of our mills also affects our extraction rates.Therefore, our mills are regularly maintained to ensure thatthey are operating efficiently. At our plantations with theoptimum maturity profile, we can extract approximately5.9 tons to 7.1 tons per hectare of crude palm oil,or approximately 23.5% of the fresh fruit bunches byweight. In addition, we can separate a further 1.2 tons perhectare of palm kernel, or approximately 5% of the freshfruit bunches by weight, during the processing of crudepalm oil. We can process approximately 43% of the palmkernel by weight into palm kernel oil, and produceapproximately 53% into palm kernel meal which is used asanimal feed. We recycle the remaining empty fruit bunchesas fertilizer and fuel. As oil palm plantations mature, theextraction rate for crude palm oil and palm kernelgenerally increases. Prime production occurs during theseventh to 18 th years of growth. We expect our oil extractionrates to increase as our planted, higher-yielding oil palmplantations mature. Further, oil extraction rates are expectedto increase if collection of loose fruits is intensified duringthe harvesting process and the reduction of oil loss at theprocessing facilities during the extraction process.
