Per consentire queste comunicazioni tramite unfirewall, bisognerà aprire la porta del Service Manager <strong>di</strong> <strong>Host</strong> <strong>On</strong>-<strong>Demand</strong> oppureutilizzare il servlet <strong>di</strong> <strong>configurazione</strong> <strong>di</strong> <strong>Host</strong> <strong>On</strong>-<strong>Demand</strong>. Il Service Manager è,per impostazione predefinita, in ascolto sulla porta 8999. E’ possibile mo<strong>di</strong>ficarequesta impostazione predefinita impostando questo valore su un altro numero <strong>di</strong>porta <strong>di</strong>sponibile. Il servlet <strong>di</strong> <strong>configurazione</strong> <strong>di</strong> <strong>Host</strong><strong>On</strong>-<strong>Demand</strong> consente ai client <strong>di</strong> <strong>Host</strong> <strong>On</strong>-<strong>Demand</strong> <strong>di</strong> comunicare con il server <strong>di</strong><strong>configurazione</strong> tramite HTTP o HTTPS. Pertanto, non è necessario che la porta delService Manager sia aperta sul firewall. I client tenteranno ancora <strong>di</strong>stabilire una connessione con il server <strong>di</strong> <strong>configurazione</strong> per il conteggio dellelicenze ma questi tentativi avranno esito negativo e non verranno visualizzatimessaggi <strong>di</strong> errore se la porta del Service Manager non è aperta.
