Circo Ripopolo trekt sinds 2003 doorheen Europa met non-verbale
voorstellingen. Ief Gilis en Stef Geers houden hun circus bewust klein
en werken met het grootste respect voor de tradities van circus en
clownerie. Ze brengen pretentieloos eerlijk circus met veel charme
en humor.
Ief Gilis et Stef Geers préfèrent garder le cirque dans des proportions
limitées: ils travaillent dans le plus grand respect des traditions du
cirque et des clowneries. Un spectacle sans prétentions plein de
charme et d’humour.

Caffè Ripopolo (2012) – NIEUWE CREATIE –
Twee circus-staljongens nemen de tijd voor het maken van
een lekker kopje koffie, ‘hun’ koffie.
Deux garçons d’écurie de cirque font la pause-café, ‘leur’ café.

Cucinema (2010)
Koks en acteurs tarten de gangbare discipline en orde van de
professionele keuken. Theatergroep Laika en Circo Ripopolo
gunnen het publiek een blik op hun heerlijk chaotische keuken.
La compagnie de théâtre Laika et Circo Ripopolo offre au public
un coup d’oeil sur leur cuisine délicieusement chaotique.

A Rovescio (2008)
De voorstelling is uitverkocht, volzet, completo! Maar niet
getreurd, de twee staljongens kunnen het publiek nog via een
achterpoortje binnensmokkelen.

Fazzoletto (2004)
De circustent is in de was gekrompen en heeft de dramatische
maat van 3 bij 4 meter aangenomen. Dus worden ook de artiesten
en het publiek tot minimale proporties teruggebracht.
La tente de cirque a rétréci au lavage, dons les artistes et le public
seront réduits à des proportions minimales.
The circus tent has shrunken. Thus, artists and audience alike have
been reduced to minimal proportions.
