TEM QUE PARTICIPAR
Lembro, como se fosse hoje, quando discutimos em pauta qual seria o
tema da edição de agosto. A primeira sugestão, é claro, foi o Dia dos Pais. Mas
não poderíamos ser simplórios e produzir uma reportagem comum, sem sal.
Como de praxe nosso trabalho se baseia por desenvolver conteúdo que supera
expectativas. Depois de muito debate surgiu a ideia de pais participativos.
Logo me veio em mente uma campanha publicitária: não basta ser pai, tem
que participar. Inspirados nessa ideia, partimos para a etapa de produção
das reportagens, descobrindo personagens para nossa história. Como pai e
também filho sinto na pele a diferença do tratamento que tive na infância e
como procuro ser mais presente junto a meus filhos. Na reportagem especial
do mês mostramos personagens que traduzem bem esse modelo de pais
modernos. Seja colecionando figurinhas, ou mesmo praticando um esporte,
somos uma geração diferente no trato e mais atenciosa a cada etapa de
crescimento de nossos filhos.
Ainda nessa edição um lindo editorial produzido pela Station Models.
Trata-se de uma homenagem inusitada à pintora mexicana Frida Kahlo, que
está em exposição no MON (Museu Oscar Niemayer), em Curitiba (PR).
Aproveito ainda para lembrar que no dia 17 de setembro acontece o
grande evento do ano, a Festa de Aniversário VOi, no Espaço Torres, com
show, desfiles e demais novidades. Imperdível!

I remember it if it was just this morning when we discussed what would
be the theme of the August issue. The first suggestion, of course, was Father’s
Day. But it couldn’t be too simplistic, such as just producing a common story,
with no substance. As usual, our work relies on developing content that exceeds
expectations. After much debate, the idea of participatory fatherhood arose.
Then an ad campaign came to mind: it is not enough to be a father, you have
to participate. Inspired by this idea, we started outlining stories, discovering
characters for them. As a father and son, I understand the difference between
the treatment that I had as a child and began looking to be more present for
my children. In the special story of the month, we found characters that well
translate this model of modern fathers. Be it collecting bubble gum cards, or
even, practicing a sport, we’re a different generation in dealing with each stage
of the growth of our children by being more attentive.
In this issue, there is a delightful story about Frida Kahlo, produced by
Station Models. It is a tribute to the Mexican painter, who is being honored
this month by MON (Oscar Niemeyer Museum), in Curitiba (PR), with a
special display on her life’s work.
We would like to remind you that on September 17, the biggest event of
the year takes place in the Espaço Torres, the VOi Anniversary Party, with live
music, shows and other exciting events. Not to be missed!
