centre of its region. The Tupi Forest Garden and the Artemis Beaches are<br />
configured as large areas of environmental preservation, meanwhile the<br />
Professor Phillipe Westin Park and the parks located on the banks of the<br />
<strong>Piracicaba</strong> river are relevant points of visitation located in the urban area.<br />
The <strong>Piracicaba</strong> International Comedy Hall is considered one of the<br />
most important humour events, performed annually at Engenho Central<br />
(Central Mill). This former sugarcane mill was listed as historical and<br />
cultural heritage, serving today as a cultural, artistic and recreational space.<br />
