Институт физиологии и санокреатологии АН Молдовы Распространенность психических заболеваний Проблема психического здоровья волнует не только специалистов психиатрии и психологии, но и широкую общественность, ибо, несмотря на отсутствие достаточно удовлетворительной системы учета психических заболеваний и долгого отсутствия единой номенклатуры и классификации этих болезней, официальные данные о численности таких больных за последнее время указывают на выраженную тенденцию их увеличения во всех странах Европы и Америки [6]. Так, например, в последние годы численность больных в государственных психиатрических больницах США, по общему числу койкодней в году, превосходит число всех госпитализированных по поводу сердечнососудистых заболеваний, злокачественных опухолей, туберкулеза и всех других болезней вместе взятых. Каждая 4-я коечного фонда США занята психическими больными. По подсчетам федеральной службы здравоохранения каждый 16-й человек в США находится некоторое время на лечении в психиатрической больнице. В государственных психиатрических больницах США половина койек занята умственно отсталым пациентом. Умственной отсталостью страдает около 8% всего населения США (в абсолютном исчислении 5 млн. 400 тысяч человек). Психические заболевания считаются «национальной проблемой» номер один общественного здравоохранения в США. До 20% населения этой страны страдают различными неврологическими расстройствами [24]. По данным Европейского региона ВОЗ (2003) в настоящее время около 450 млн. жителей земли страдают от психических расстройств, что выводит их на одно из первых мест среди причин заболеваемости. Каждая 4-я семья имеет одного из членов, который страдает или страдал от психического расстройства в этот ли иной период времени. Более того, распространенность психических заболеваний увеличивается: если сегодня на них приходится 12% бремени заболеваемости, то согласно имеющимся прогнозам, к 2020–у году этот показатель повысится до 15%. В другом докладе Европейского регионального бюро ВОЗ (2001) отмечается, что на каком-то этапе жизни у 20-25% всех жителей планеты возникают те или иные психические расстройства. Если в 2001 году, по данным ВОЗ, от психических расстройств страдали 10% всего детского населения, то в 2003 году, по данным Европейского региона ВОЗ, в Европе у одного из четырех европейских подростков наблюдается один или несколько симптомов психических расстройств.
