trebaju mi jutra... šta me briga šta me čeka

sutra...

dan.... dragi mesec okean preskoći... i napusti

moj san....U snu mi se sve lepo dešava... i san

sve moje probleme rešava... Gleda me mesec

kako mu zborim... gleda me pravo u oći i sluša

kako mu ništa ne govoirm...

Tu ga pronalazim u zvuku izgrebanih

ploća..u mirisu starih knjiga...u stihu pesme...

Pukotine u zidu..U našim

slepim ulicama... i

mestima koja imena

nemaju... u cvrkutu

ptica....i svetlosti uličnih

sijalica... A kako godine

prolaze... naša ljubav će

rasti... u njegovim očima

ne vidim poraze... u

njegovim očima kroz

godine ni bore mi neće

teško pasti...

Gledam te kao sliku i

divim ti se šutke... i guram

prste u predele skrivene..vadeći prelepe

trenutke... Živote muko moja najlepša..opet su

ti snegovi bez mojih stopala..opet na tvom

putu nema mojih tragova... Ti si moje nešto što

uvek osetim..nežno i jako u isti mah...ti si moj

zrak... Duboko želim... iskreno idem... nežno

ćutim te... da mi te ne ukradu... Hladno je

osluškujem...

Pokažite mu put...

Vetar istim tonom šapuće...pokošenoj

travi... mesećevoj slani... uveloj grani...

Pokažite mu put da ga manje bol... A duše one

ćute..jer u tim čutnjama rečeno je sve... željno

čekaju da budu zagrljene...

“Auntie Sophie”

In this anecdote, there's not one iota of

untruth. One day I visited my cousin Daria who

was just staying in her late grandma’s house

then. Old photographs prompted memories,

that’s how I found out about it.

My cousin's grandmother had a photo taken

of herself, for her grave plaque, well over 20

years before she died (my dad's aunt,

“stryjenka”, as my family

used to call her and as we

say it all the time). And in

the end, she lived for 94

long years, I think…

It was so strange for

my cousin, a girl who had

just been stumbling into

adulthood, that dear

Grandmother showed her

a picture saying these

words: “Look, this is a

photograph for my

grave”. And many years

went by, the auntie was still alive for quite a

long time. But the end had to come one day,

they asked for her on the other side... The

photo finally came in handy. But…”Where is

it?” – everybody kept asking. There was no end

to the search.

One night, Daria woke up suddenly, and as

she was sleeping next to other family

members, everyone was surprised: “What

made you wake up so abruptly?” My dear

cousin had a dream where someone was

talking: “Search in this purse!" Was the

missing photograph there? What do you

think? And whose voice was that...?

Dreams don't lie, do they?
