168. Seder HaPruzbol
Laws and procedure of Pruzbol, with different version of the
Pruzbol contract, by R’ Yehuda Yudel Rosenberg. Pieterkow.
1910. 7 pp., illustrated title page, 22 cm.
H ebrew and Yiddish on facing columns. The two pages with
the contracts were printed on only one side of the page,
apparently to enable them to be torn out and used. First
edition of an unusual work on the subject of Pruzbol.
Excellent condition.

167. Niflaot Mahara”l
Biography of R’Yehuda Lowe (the Mahara”l of Prague) and the
story of his creation the “Golem of Prague”, by R’Yehuda Yudel
Rosenberg. Pieterkow. 1909. 76 pp., 21 cm.
F irst edition of the Yiddish version. The author writes that
he copied the story from a manuscript, written by the son-
in-law of the Mahara”l of Prague, kept in the Metz imperial
library. Many doubted the authenticity of this work, there
was even a whole book written against it by R’ M. M.
Eckstein called “Sefer Yetzira” (published in Siget, 1910).
Good condition, illustrated title page. Perhaps a leaf is lacking
at the end containing an index and advertisementisements.
