Responsa by the Gaonim with Iyeh Hayam annotations, a
commentary by R’ Yisrael Moshe Chazzan. Leghorn, Eliyahu
Ben Amozag press. 1869. [2], 120 leaves, 23 cm.
With an approbation by R’ David Chaim Chazzan of Jerusalem.
F irst edition. R’ Yisrael Moshe Chazzan was a rabbinic judge
in Jerusalem and Rabbi of Rome, Korfu and Alexandria. In
1863 he travelled to Beirut where he passed away. He was
buried in sidon.
Very good condition, original, half-leather binding.

Commentary on the laws of Niddah, by R’ Moshe Yitzchak
Avigdor. Vilna. 1868. [2], 96 leaves, 32.5 cm.
An all-encompasing commentary on the Ta”z (“Mikshe Zahav”)
and the Shac”h (“Siftei Chacham”). The author was the Rabbi
of Slonim, Washelek, Saini, Kovno and, towards the end of his
l ife, Sklow where he passed away in 1864. Only edition.
Very good condition, with original half-leather binding.
