45 leaves, 22.5 cm.
First edition. Includes many Kabbalistic illustrations and
diagrams. This book has always been considered a Segula
a nd an amulet for the Jewish home. On the title page: This is
a good Segula to merit wise descendants, and have success and
prosperity, one who keeps this holy and awe filled book with
him…will merit a speedy salvation.
Excellent condition, wide margins, original, restored, half-leather
binding.

בשנת תקנ"ד כתוב בשער שהודפס לראשונה בשנת תקכ"ז מכתב
יד,‏ וכך רשמו כל הביבליוגרפים.‏ אמנם,‏ בשער של שערי הקדושה
משנת תקכ"ג שלפנינו כתבו המדפיסים שהוסיפו לקוטים מר'‏
שמשון מאסטרפאליא,‏ והביבליוגרפים סברו שהספר מעולם
לא נדפס.‏ והנה לפנינו הספר הנדפס כהמשך לספר שערי
הקדושה!‏

Vinograd according to a private copy that he saw.

152. Sha’arei HaKedusha – Sefer
HaLikutim
Sha’arei HaKedusha: book of Kabbalah compiled from
manuscripts of R’ Chaim Vital. 34 leaves.
Sefer HaLikutim: Compilation on Kabbalah by R’ Shimshon of
Ostropoli. [8] leaves. Zolkiew. 1763. 14.5 cm.
Extremely rare edition of one of the first publications of the
book Sha’arei HaKedusha, and is a bibliographic discovery.
The first edition of Sefer HaLikutim is not known at all! In
the edition published in 1794 it is written on the title page
that it was first published in 1767 from a manuscript, and all
the bibliographers record this. Yet, on the title page of this
copy of Sha’arei HaKedusha from 1763 the publishers write
that they added a compilation by R’ Shimshon of Ostropoli,
and the bibliographers assumed that this book was never
published. But here is that very book that was published
together with Sha’arei HaKedusha!
