Signed by R’ Nathan Adler, the well-known Rabbi of
F rankfurt and the Chatam Sofer’s Rebbe. With other owners’
signatures of the Adler family.
Good condition, although lacking the extra title page before
the novellae of Mahar”i Ben Lev, and the extra title page
before novellae by the Maharshac”h. Also lacking two leaves of
addendums at the end.

Commentary of the Ritv”a and Tosafot Ri”d on tractate
Kidushin. Berlin, Baruch Buchbinder press. 1715. 104 [should
be 110] leaves, 20 cm.
The first edition was published in Sabbioneta in 1553 inside
t ractate kidushin. Because of the decree of the burning of
the Talmud on Rosh Hashana 1554, less then a month after
the publishing, almost all first edition copies were burnt.
Owners’ signatures.
Very good condition, half-leather binding.
