Chancen und Risiken für die <strong>in</strong>dustrielle Produktion<br />
Unternehmensübergreifende Kollaborationsnetzwerke, die als selbst-organisierende dezentrale<br />
E<strong>in</strong>heiten fungieren, stehen vor der Herausforderung, Transparenz und Vertrauen<br />
zu erzeugen, um e<strong>in</strong>e möglichst effektive Nutzung zu erzielen. <strong>Gamification</strong> als Anwendung<br />
von Spielemechanismen <strong>in</strong> nicht-spielerischen Kontexten bietet Potenzial,<br />
diese Herausforderung zu erfüllen. Der Beitrag diskutiert an e<strong>in</strong>em Beispiel, wie sich<br />
Pr<strong>in</strong>zipien von <strong>Gamification</strong> <strong>in</strong> e<strong>in</strong>em dezentralen Produktionsnetzwerk anwenden lassen,<br />
um Transparenz und Motivation bei Mitarbeitern zu erzeugen und gleichzeitig mittels<br />
Netzwerkprofilen Wettbewerbsvorteile zu generieren, ohne dabei Unternehmens<strong>in</strong>terna<br />
preiszugeben.<br />

Inter-organizational networks which are controlled as decentralized self-organiz<strong>in</strong>g units<br />
must establish transparency and trust <strong>in</strong> order to enable effective collaboration. <strong>Gamification</strong>,<br />
the <strong>in</strong>troduction of game mechanisms <strong>in</strong> non-gam<strong>in</strong>g contexts, is a promis<strong>in</strong>g<br />
approach to meet<strong>in</strong>g this challenge. Us<strong>in</strong>g an example, we discuss how pr<strong>in</strong>ciples of gamification<br />
can be applied <strong>in</strong> a decentralized network to <strong>in</strong>crease employees’ trust and<br />
motivation. At the same time, the evolv<strong>in</strong>g network profiles should generate competitive<br />
advantages without divulg<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>ternal corporate <strong>in</strong>formation.<br />
