DOG-Kongress 2011 - Highlights
Poster of the Day
After each poster session, the moderators of each group will
choose one poster as “Poster of the Day” for each session. All selected
posters of the day will be relocated to a dedicated exhibition
“Posters of the Day” in the industrial exhibition. Unlike the other
posters, all “Posters of the Day” will be presented during the entire
congress.
DOG Poster Award
Every day a jury will select the three extraordinary posters from
the day’s best posters which will be awarded the DOG poster prize
endowed with 300 Euro.

Englischsprachige Sitzungen
Comprehensive English Program
Im Jahr 2011 werden von Donnerstag bis Samstag hochkarätige,
englischsprachige Sitzungen in das Programm integriert, die die
DOG gemeinsam mit europäischen und außereuropäischen Fachgesellschaften
durchführt.
An diesem international orientierten Programm wirken unter
anderem AAO, EGS, ESCRS, Euretina, EUNOS, ESORPS, EVER, EEBA,
EUCornea, FEOph, ISCEV sowie die Serbische Ophthalmologische
Gesellschaft mit.
In den englischsprachigen Sitzungen werden der aktuelle Stand
der wissenschaftlichen Forschung und die klinische Anwendung
aus internationaler Perspektive diskutiert.
From its very beginning in 1857, the DOG Congress has always
been an international meeting. Following this tradition, numerous
English-language sessions will be integrated into the scientific
program of this year’s DOG Congress. These sessions will be
structured in continuous session threads for the convenience and
comfort of the English speaking attendees and guests, offering
them an exceedingly worthwhile program. This program in English
will primarily be organized in collaboration with important
European and non-European scientific societies. Its topics will
focus on the cutting edges of all subspecialties in ophthalmology.
The supporting societies include, among others: AAO, EGS, ESCRS,
EUretina, EUNOS, ESOPRS, EVER, EEBA, EUCornea, FEOph, ISCEV and
the Serbian Ophthalmological Society. With this program, the DOG
continues to actively encourage the integration of European ophthalmology.
