Taktfahrplan der SGV
Der Fahrplan der SGV hat sich über viele Jahre entwickelt und
gut bewährt. Rahmenbedingungen wie z.B. Kundenbedürfnisse,
Arbeitsgesetze, Frequenzen sowie weitere Faktoren wurden
nun umfassend analysiert. Seit 14. Dezember 2008 ist der neue
Schiffsfahrplan in Kraft. Er enthält wesentliche Änderungen und
Verbesserungen und leistet einen wichtigen Beitrag für den öffentlichen
Verkehr und für die touristische Attraktivität der
Region Vierwaldstättersee.
• Stündliche Fahrten von Mai bis Oktober auf der Hauptstrecke
Luzern – Flüelen – Luzern.
• Regelmässige Abfahrtszeiten ab Luzern: Richtung Küssnacht
um xx.00 Uhr, Richtung Flüelen um xx.12 Uhr, Richtung
Meggenhorn um xx.30 Uhr und Richtung Alpnachstad um
xx.45 Uhr.
• Optimierte Anschlüsse an die Rigi Bahnen, Pilatus-Bahnen
und SBB.
• Einfachere Lesbarkeit der Fahrpläne durch die regelmässigen
Abfahrtszeiten.
• Mehr Rundfahrten: Ausbau auch im Urnersee.
• Leistungs-Ausbau des Fahrplans um rund 16’000 Kilometer
(+5 %).
• Schiffstationen mit hoher Nachfrage werden häufiger
angefahren. Halte an Stationen mit tiefer Nachfrage wurden
reduziert bzw. temporär aufgehoben.

SGV’s synchronized timetables
SGV’s tried-and-tested timetables have been many years in the
making. We have just finished yet another analysis of all the factors
involved, such as customer needs, labour laws, frequency
data and other aspects, and have produced a new timetable
that came into force on 14th December 2008. It incorporates
important changes and improvements, and will significantly enhance
the Lake Lucerne region’s public transport systems and
the region’s attractiveness to tourists.
• Hourly cruises from May to October on the main Lucerne –
Flüelen – Lucerne route.
• Regular departure times from Lucerne: To Küssnacht
at xx.00, to Flüelen at xx.12, to Meggenhorn at xx.30 and to
Alpnachstad at xx.45.
• Optimized connections to Rigi railways, Pilatus Railways
and SBB.
• Timetables are easier to read due to regular departure
times.
• Additional round trips – including extra cruises on Lake Uri.
• Increased distances now covered – around 16,000 kilometres
(+5 %).
• More popular landing stages are used more frequently,
with landings reduced / temporarily discontinued at less
popular ones.

Zwei Schiffsjubiläen im Jahr 2009
50 Jahre Motorschiff Schwyz
Als erstes grosses Motorschiff erschien die Schwyz im Jahr
1959 auf dem Vierwaldstättersee. Es ersetzte den Dampfer mit
gleichem Namen, der zwischen 1870 und 1959 verkehrte. Noch
heute fährt die Schwyz mit den originalen Sulzer-2-Takt-Diesel-
Motoren aus dem Jahre 1959.
Am 18. Juli 2009 feiert das klassische Motorschiff, welches im
Stil italienischer Luxusliner erbaut wurde, seinen fünfzigsten
Geburtstag. Erleben Sie genau 50 Jahre nach der Jungfernfahrt
unvergessliche nautische Momente.
Fahrplan der offiziellen Geburtstagsfahrt von MS Schwyz
am 18. Juli 2009: Luzern (Brücke 1) ab 12.12, an 17.20 Uhr /
Gersau ab 13.45, an 16.15 Uhr / Brunnen ab 14.11, an 15.47 Uhr.
MS Schwyz 50 years
In 1959, the Schwyz was the first large motor vessel to make its
appearance on Lake Lucerne. It replaced the paddle steamer of
the same name that plied the lake between 1870 and 1959.
It is still powered by the original Sulzer 2-stroke diesel engines
dating from 1959. This classic motor vessel, built in the style of
an Italian luxury liner, will be celebrating its 50th birthday on
18th July 2009. Memorable nautical moments, exactly 50 years
after its maiden voyage, are yours for the taking.
Sailing times for the MS Schwyz official birthday cruise on
18th July 2009: Leaves Lucerne (Brücke 1) 12.12 arrives 17.20 /
leaves Gersau 13.45, arrives 16.15 / leaves Brunnen 14.11,
arrives 15.47.
80 Jahre Motorschiff Rütli
Unverwechselbar erfüllt jeweils in der Sommerzeit der Klang der
Messingpfeife des Motorschiffs Rütli die Luzerner Seebucht.
Am 13. Mai 2009 feiert der Liebling der Luzerner Bevölkerung
seinen 80. Geburtstag. Folgende Fahrten sind mit der Jubilarin
geplant:
Mittwoch, 13. Mai 2009: Offizielle Geburtstagsfahrt zum
Schloss Meggerhorn.
Freitag, 31. Juli 2009: Mit dem Rütli zum Rütli.
Freitag, 31. Juli 2009: Fahrt zum Feuerwerk vor Flüelen mit
Nachtessen.

MV Rütli 80 years
The distinctive sound of the Rütli’s brass whistle has long been
heard across the bay during the Lucerne summers. On 13th May
2009, this well-loved Lucerne institution will be celebrating its
80th birthday. Our birthday girl will be making the following
cruises to celebrate this occasion:
Wednesday, 13th May 2009: Official birthday cruise to
Meggerhorn Castle.
Friday 31st July 2009: Off to Rütli aboard the Rütli.
Friday 31st July 2009: Cruise to see the fireworks display at
Flüelen with evening meal.
