I LOVE
SALZBURG
Auch ECO-WE LOVE SALZBURG
nachzufragen, warum
dem so ist.
Frau Ecker, Bürmoos besticht
durch ländliche Idylle
und gleichzeitig durch Stadtnähe.
Was zeichnet diesen
Standort in Bezug auf Ihre
Bio-Hofmetzgerei für Sie
aus?
„
Cornelia Ecker:
Feinschmecker Salzburgs. Viele zählen bereits seit
einigen Jahren zu unseren treuen Stammkunden.
When you tell people you’re from Salzburg,
their eyes always light up and
they break out in a wide smile. Because
anyone who’s ever been to the city of Mozart is bound
to go into raptures over it. Although over the years the riverside
city has become an international business location, most
people still appreciate its straightforwardness, intimacy and
homely feel. Here at ECO-WE LOVE SALZBURG, we headline
every issue with ‘We love Salzburg’, and we thought it was
time to ask several small but influential companies why the
motto ‘I love Salzburg’ holds true for them as well.
Mrs Ecker, Bürmoos
is an idyllic spot, and
it’s close to the city
too. What makes it
the perfect location
for your own organic
butchery?
Cornelia Ecker:
Our idyllic rural situation
suits us well, as we operate
an organic farm
on the outskirts of Bürmoos,
where we don’t
use any artificial aids on
our fields and meadows.
Since we also slaughter
directly at the farm itself,
transport distances
are short for the meat
animals coming from regional organic farms that share our
philosophy.
We distribute our organic meat and organic delicatessen
products through various organic markets in the city of Salzburg,
such as on the Schranne, at the Kajetaner Platz, at the
Borromäus Point and at the Grünmarkt on Saturdays. Thanks
to our proximity to the city, we can combine ecological production
with distribution. Our organic markets are always filled
with Salzburg’s health-conscious gourmets, and many have
been part of our loyal customer base for a number of years.
